Fatal Wasco car crash claims the life of Santos Antolin Cruz – Obituary
Santos Antolin Cruz, a 23-year-old resident of Wasco, has been identified as the victim of a deadly car crash that occurred on June 15 on Highway 43.
The Kern County coroner and California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the incident took place around 9:08 p.m.
Cruz was driving a Honda northbound on Highway 43, just north of Wasco Avenue, when he lost control and collided with an almond tree. The speed at which Cruz was traveling at the time of the crash remains unknown.
