Fatal I-80 Crash Near Peru Claims Life of Ronald Hansen – Obituary
Ronald Hansen, aged 67 from Tiskilwa, has been identified as the deceased in a tragic accident on I-80 close to Peru on Sunday. His wife, Theresa Hansen, 66, was also involved; she was taken to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The LaSalle County Coroner’s Office reported that Ronald Hansen was driving eastbound in a silver minivan when, for reasons yet to be determined, he veered off the road and collided with the Plank Rd overpass in Peru.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing, involving the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office, Illinois State Police, and the Illinois State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit.
