The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the individual who was tragically killed by a train in Springfield Township on Saturday morning.
Amanda Bassett, aged 36, from Holland, was hit by an eastbound train at approximately 8:33 a.m. on the tracks along Crissey Road near Gieser Road.
Authorities confirmed that Bassett was pronounced dead at the scene.
