An 11-year-old girl named Queen Norwood has tragically died following an SUV accident in Stockton. The crash occurred early Sunday morning when the vehicle, carrying six minors, collided with a tree.
The incident took place on North El Dorado Street near St. Mary’s High School around 7:45 a.m.
According to the San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office, Norwood was pronounced dead at the hospital due to her injuries.
The remaining five minors, aged between 13 and 15, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Stockton Police Department spokesman Officer Omer Edhah expressed concern over the situation, highlighting the alarming nature of the accident involving such young individuals.
Authorities are investigating the crash to determine who was driving the SUV and the seating arrangement of the minors at the time of the incident.
