Three individuals lost their lives in a tragic car accident on County Line Road in Hatboro, including 31-year-old Joseph Snavely from Southampton.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identities of the deceased, following the collision that occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Friday night.
The crash, which involved multiple vehicles near Park Avenue, resulted in the deaths of Snavely, 31-year-old Gabrielle Sims, also from Southampton, and 69-year-old Anne Swoyer from Hatboro.
The Coroner’s Office, under the direction of Janine Darby, responded to the scene and assisted in the multi-agency investigation alongside local law enforcement, fire, and EMS teams.
Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the third, later identified as Snavely, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The cause of death for all three victims was determined to be multiple injuries sustained in the accident.
The incident began when Snavely, who was driving a Chevy Camaro, crossed into oncoming traffic on County Line Road, colliding with a Nissan SUV driven by Swoyer. A Hyundai traveling behind the Nissan was also involved in the crash.
The Hatboro Police Department responded to the initial report of the crash at 6:35 p.m., finding one vehicle overturned.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with further details expected to be released soon. Meanwhile, a woman who was a passenger in the Camaro remains in critical condition, and two others suffered injuries in the crash.
