Fatal Gibson County car crash death of Paula Louise Dickinson – Obituary
On Sunday, 78-year-old Paula Louise Dickinson from Owensville, Indiana, was identified as the victim of a fatal accident.
The crash occurred at 11:28 a.m. at the junction of County Road 400 South and County Road 350 West.
Authorities from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office reported that a Buick Century, traveling north on County Road 350 West, did not yield to a Chevrolet Malibu coming east on County Road 400 South.
Emergency services found Dickinson critically injured, and despite efforts by the Gibson County Ambulance Service and Owensville Montgomery Township Fire Department to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was taken to a hospital in Evansville. An autopsy revealed Dickinson’s death resulted from multiple blunt force injuries, while toxicology results for the other driver are still pending.
