Fatal Conejo Valley car crash claims the life of Bob Ferguson – Obituary
Authorities have now identified 77-year-old Bob Ferguson as the victim of a puzzling traffic accident that occurred in the Conejo Valley. Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies reported that Ferguson, a resident of Simi Valley, was driving at high speed on Olsen Road near Hardy Lane in Thousand Oaks on Monday afternoon when he collided with another vehicle.
Following the initial collision, Ferguson’s car careened into a tree located in the median of the road. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Ferguson later succumbed to his injuries. The impact of the crash was so severe that it pushed the other vehicle approximately 500 feet, although the driver of that car fortunately escaped with only minor injuries. The accident also led to significant traffic delays on nearby Highway 23.
