BALTIMORE — Brianna Jarrells has been identified as the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred in Baltimore County. According to the police, the incident unfolded after a dispute between Jarrells and her sister, which escalated into violence.
Officers were dispatched to a residence at approximately 1:35 a.m. on Sunday and found Jarrells severely injured on the driveway. She was surrounded by a significant amount of blood, and another individual was with her, trying to offer assistance.
The victim reportedly identified her sister, Brianna Jarrells, as the attacker before being taken to the University of Maryland Hospital, Shock Trauma. Jarrells succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
Witnesses revealed that the sisters had attended a wedding earlier that evening and later had a minor argument that intensified over time. After the confrontation, the witness saw the victim on the ground and attempted to help before calling emergency services.
At the scene, a yellow box cutter was discovered a short distance from where Jarrells was found. During the investigation, Jarrells admitted to using the utility knife but claimed it was intended as a warning, not as a lethal attack.
When informed of her sister’s death, Jarrells initially expressed disbelief, saying she thought the injury was minor. She then broke down in tears as the reality of the situation set in.
