Hamid Mirshojae, a 61-year-old doctor, was tragically shot to death outside his medical clinic in Los Angeles on August 23, 2024. His ex-wife, Ahang Zarin, revealed the news on Facebook, expressing the deep shock and sorrow felt by their four children. Zarin shared how Mirshojae, who had spent decades caring for countless patients, was taken from them right in front of his practice.
The incident occurred near his car in front of the Woodland Hills Medical Clinic & Urgent Care, where Mirshojae had worked for many years. The Los Angeles Police Department and paramedics responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 6:12 p.m. on Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Despite their efforts, Mirshojae was pronounced dead at the scene.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Mirshojae was a well-respected osteopathic physician specializing in family and emergency medicine. His expertise extended to Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment and addiction recovery. The tragic loss has left his family and community in mourning.
