Fatal Sterling shooting death of Mijal Conejero-Romera and Diego Alexander Woollett – Obituary
Two individuals lost their lives early Wednesday morning in a shooting near an office complex in Sterling, Virginia, according to Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. following a reported argument inside an apartment complex on Huntington Square.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a man and a woman with gunshot injuries near a wooden fence at an adjacent office park on Ridgetop Circle. The victims, identified as 22-year-olds Mijal Conejero-Romera from Sterling and Diego Alexander Woollett from Arlington, were transported to a hospital but succumbed to their injuries.
Preliminary findings indicate that after the altercation inside the apartment complex, Conejero-Romera and Woollett moved around the fence where the shooting occurred. Authorities believe the shooting was targeted and are actively searching for suspects.
