Reinaldo Aguilar, a 62-year-old construction worker, tragically lost his life in a crash that occurred in Centennial on Monday morning. According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at a construction site on South Holly Street shortly before 11 a.m.
The victim, Aguilar, was identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office. On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office revealed that both Aguilar and the truck driver were employed by the same construction company. The driver, who was operating a yellow dump truck at the time of the incident, is not facing any charges.
Northbound lanes of South Holly Street were closed for several hours between East Arapahoe Road and East Weaver Avenue as deputies conducted their investigation. The lanes were reopened shortly after 1 p.m.
