Sina Chohili Sobby dies in fatal San Antonio shooting
Fatal San Antonio shooting death of Sina Chohili Sobby – Obituary
Sina Chohili Sobby, aged 22, was identified early Thursday morning by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as the man fatally shot by an agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 27, at the Merida Apartments near NE Loop 410 and Starcrest Drive.
According to authorities, while ATF agents were attempting to execute a federal arrest warrant, Sobby allegedly brandished a firearm at the team. In response, an ATF agent discharged their weapon, resulting in Sobby’s death.
The San Antonio Police Department is currently investigating the shooting, although the ATF has not disclosed the specifics of the warrant or the reasons behind it.
