The tragic accident occurred around 5:15 a.m. on August 25, when Dziatskou was struck by a vehicle. Emergency crews arrived on the scene, but Dziatskou was pronounced dead upon their arrival. The driver involved in the collision fled the scene and has not yet been located.
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that Dziatskou’s death was accidental, caused by multiple blunt force injuries sustained during the crash.
