**Fatal Wise County crash claims the life of Diony Antoine – Obituary
Diony Antoine, 46, was one of four individuals killed in a tragic single-vehicle accident in Wise County, Texas, early Wednesday morning. The crash, which occurred just before 8 a.m. on U.S. 287 near Alvord, also left 10 others injured. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) released the identities of the victims on Thursday.
According to the preliminary investigation, a Chevrolet Express 3500 van, driven by Antoine, veered off the road and rolled over after the driver attempted to correct course. The impact caused multiple passengers to be ejected from the vehicle, with only one of the 14 occupants wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The three men who were pronounced dead at the scene, along with Antoine, were identified as JN Irard Vixamar, 42, and Ledene Pierre-Louis, 36. Additionally, a female passenger, Geneve Louis, 28, succumbed to her injuries at Medical City Denton hospital.
The 10 injured passengers, all men, were transported to hospitals in Fort Worth and Denton. Two of them sustained critical injuries. The DPS identified the injured as Noel Fednel, 35; Dieudyrat Eliassaint, 33; Walnick Desir, 33; Reginald Neptune, 34; Marc Jean Lorkens Baptiste, 25; Vincola Lecean, 52; Junior Louis, 35; Jean Edson, 35; Jean Philippe Durock, 47; and Manius Vines, 44.
All the passengers were Florida residents of Haitian descent, traveling from Florida to New Mexico. Authorities have confirmed that the passengers were not involved in human trafficking or smuggling, and the van was not associated with a church or school. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
