**Fatal Wise County rollover death of Diony Antoine, JN Irard Vixamar, and Ledene Pierre-Louis – Obituary**
The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the victims involved in a tragic rollover accident that occurred on Wednesday morning, August 28, 2024, on U.S. Highway 287 near Alvord. The incident, described by officials as a “mass casualty event,” resulted in the deaths of Diony Antoine, 46; JN Irard Vixamar, 42; and Ledene Pierre-Louis, 36, who were pronounced dead at the scene. Geneve Louis, 28, succumbed to injuries at Medical City Denton later.
The accident involved a 15-passenger van that veered off the road and rolled multiple times, leading to several occupants being ejected. In total, four people lost their lives, and ten others sustained injuries. The injured passengers include Noel Fednel, 35; Dieudyrat Eliassaint, 35; Walnick Desir, 33; Reginald Neptune, 34; Marc Jean Lorkens Baptiste, 25; Vincola Lecean, 52; Junior Louis, 35; Jean Edson, 35; Jean Philippe Durock, 47; and Manius Vines, 44. They were taken to various hospitals, with most being transported to Medical City Denton.
The group, all residents of Florida with Haitian heritage, was en route to New Mexico when the crash occurred. Sgt. Tony De La Cerda confirmed that this investigation does not involve human smuggling or trafficking.
