Fatal Wise County van crash death of JN Irard Vixamar – Obituary
In a tragic incident on Wednesday morning, a rollover crash involving a passenger van in Wise County resulted in multiple fatalities. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has identified the victims of this devastating accident that occurred near Alvord.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. when the van, transporting 14 people from Florida to New Mexico, veered off Highway 287 at the FM 1655 exit. The vehicle lost control, rolled over multiple times, and ejected several passengers. Three individuals died at the scene, and a fourth succumbed to injuries at the hospital. Of the passengers, only one was wearing a seatbelt and sustained only minor injuries.
The victims, all of Haitian descent, were as follows:
– Diony Antoine, 46, the driver, was pronounced dead at the scene.
– JN Irard Vixamar, 42, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
– Ledene Pierre-Louis, 36, another passenger, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
– Geneve Louis, 28, passed away at Medical City Denton.
– Noel Fednel, 35, was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth with critical injuries.
– Dieudyrat Eliassaint, 33, was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with critical injuries.
– Walnick Desir, 33, was transported to Medical City Denton with serious injuries.
– Reginald Neptune, 34, was also taken to Medical City Denton with serious injuries.
– Marc Jean Lorkens Baptiste, 25, was taken to Medical City Denton with serious injuries.
– Vincola Lecean, 52, was transported to Medical City Denton with serious injuries.
– Junior Louis, 35, was taken to Medical City Denton with serious injuries.
– Jean Edson, 35, was transported to Medical City Denton with serious injuries.
– Jean Philippe Durock, 47, was taken to Medical City Denton with serious injuries.
– Manius Vines, 44, suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance.
The DPS has confirmed that this incident was not related to human smuggling or trafficking.
