The motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a suspected DUI accident in Clovis has been identified as 37-year-old Josh Cowdrey. The incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Barstow and Stanford.
According to Clovis Police, 57-year-old Tammera Pittman was operating an SUV when she turned left, resulting in a collision with Cowdrey. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Pittman was subsequently arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail, facing charges including DUI causing injury and gross vehicular manslaughter. She has since been released on bail.
