In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a tragic shooting occurred Thursday afternoon near a food mart on Plank Road. Martelle Hamilton, 22, was involved in an altercation with another individual in the 5500 block of Plank Road before the incident. As Hamilton was returning to his vehicle, he was shot multiple times and was declared dead at the scene.
