Fatal Gibson County crash death of Paula Louise Dickinson – Obituary
The Gibson County Coroner’s Office has identified 78-year-old Paula Louise Dickinson of Owensville, Indiana, as the victim in a deadly car accident that occurred on Sunday. The collision took place at 11:28 a.m. at the junction of County Road 400 South and County Road 350 West.
According to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened when a Buick Century, traveling north on County Road 350 West, failed to yield to a Chevrolet Malibu heading east on County Road 400 South. Emergency services arrived at the scene and found Dickinson critically injured. Despite efforts by the Gibson County Ambulance Service and Owensville Montgomery Township Fire to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was transported to an Evansville hospital.
The coroner’s office reported that an autopsy was conducted on Sunday, revealing that Dickinson’s death resulted from multiple blunt force injuries. The toxicology results for the other driver involved are still awaited.
