On Thursday afternoon, a tragic murder-suicide occurred in Pompano Beach, resulting in the deaths of Sergey Moiseenko, 44, and Yadviga McConville. The incident unfolded around 12:20 p.m. near Pier Street and Seabreeze Way, where sheriff’s deputies and fire rescue teams were summoned to the scene.
Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered both victims with gunshot wounds. McConville was pronounced dead at the scene, while Moiseenko was transported in critical condition to Broward Health North, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
