**Fatal I-26 crash near Columbia claims the life of Ulyssess Donell Green – Obituary**
A Blythewood resident, Ulyssess Donell Green, aged 36, was killed in a tragic collision on Interstate 26 near Swansea on Tuesday night. According to the Lexington County Coroner’s Office, Green was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred when Green’s vehicle collided with the rear of a tractor trailer while he was heading eastbound. The coroner’s office noted that Green was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The driver of the tractor trailer, whose name has not been released, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are currently investigating the incident.
