Fatal Wayne County plane crash death of Charles Finck – Obituary
Authorities have released the name of the pilot who perished in a plane crash in Wayne County, Nebraska. Charles Finck, a 79-year-old resident of Elk River, Minnesota, was identified by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on Monday morning, approximately seven miles north and three miles west of Wayne. Finck died on impact when his Piper PA-28-140 crashed.
On the same morning, another plane crash took place in Knox County. This accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. Monday, about four miles southwest of Crofton. The pilot, Joseph Rudloff, 73, from Norfolk, was also killed. The aircraft involved was a Rans S-19. Both crashes are under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
