Joseph Snavely dies in fatal Hatboro, PA crash
**Fatal Hatboro, PA crash claims the lives of Joseph Snavely, Anne Swoyer, and Gabrielle Sims
HATBORO, Pennsylvania — Three individuals have been identified following a deadly multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Hatboro, Montgomery County. The tragic incident took place around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 23, near the intersection of County Line Road and Park Avenue.
Authorities report that 31-year-old Joseph Snavely, of Southampton, was driving a Chevy Camaro westbound on County Line Road when he lost control, causing the vehicle to veer into the eastbound lanes. The Camaro collided with a Nissan SUV driven by 69-year-old Anne Swoyer, a Hatboro resident. A Hyundai, traveling behind the Nissan, was also caught in the crash.
Both Snavely and Swoyer were pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, 31-year-old Gabrielle Sims, a passenger in Snavely’s Camaro, was taken to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Another passenger in the Camaro and the Hyundai’s driver were also hospitalized following the accident.
