Fatal Harrisburg apartment homicide claims life of Allie McFadden – Obituary
A 26-year-old woman, Allie McFadden of York County, was found dead in an apartment located on the 100 block of Pine Street in Harrisburg late Thursday night, according to the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, September 3rd.
Harrisburg police have charged a married couple, Kyle and Chanise Burton, with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and conspiracy in connection with the death of McFadden, whose body was discovered inside their apartment.
The police reported that they responded to a call about an assault in progress at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29th. Upon arrival, officers encountered the Burtons, who reside in the apartment. Inside, they found McFadden’s body and immediately initiated an investigation, calling in detectives and forensic teams to examine the scene.
According to court documents, Kyle Burton allegedly assaulted McFadden while his wife, Chanise, pointed a gun at her. The police have not yet disclosed a motive for the killing.
