**Fatal Twerton car crash claims the life of Anthony Rogers – Obituary**
Anthony Rogers, a 45-year-old resident of Bath, has been identified as the man who tragically lost his life in a car crash in Twerton. His family remembers him as a “larger-than-life character” who will be deeply missed.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, August 25, at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Pennyquick and Whiteway Road. Avon and Somerset Police reported that the crash involved a purple Citroen C4, and sadly, Mr. Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a heartfelt tribute, his family described Anthony as someone who “lived life to the full” and brought joy to everyone around him. “Ant was a larger-than-life character and a free spirit who lit up every room. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, friend, and partner. His absence will be felt deeply by all who knew him,” they said.
The family is being supported by a specially-trained liaison officer as they cope with their loss.
According to police reports, Mr. Rogers’ car was believed to be heading toward Newton St Loe when it veered off the road.
