Fatal Tempe office cubicle death of Denise Prudhomme – Obituary
A 60-year-old Wells Fargo employee, Denise Prudhomme, was discovered deceased in her office cubicle four days after checking into the building in Tempe, Arizona, authorities reported.
Prudhomme had last scanned her access badge at approximately 7 a.m. on Friday, August 16, as stated by the Tempe Police Department.
On the following Tuesday, a security guard alerted emergency services upon finding Prudhomme unresponsive at her desk on the third floor.
It was noted that her cubicle was situated in a less frequented section of the office.
She was declared dead at 4:55 p.m., as per police reports.
According to local NBC affiliate KPNX, a coworker, who requested anonymity, mentioned that a few individuals had noticed an unpleasant smell but initially thought it was due to plumbing problems.
The investigation is ongoing, though currently, there are no signs of foul play. The Maricopa County Medical Examiner will ascertain the cause of death.
A Wells Fargo representative expressed sympathy in a statement, saying: “We are profoundly saddened by the passing of our colleague, Denise Prudhomme.
Our hearts go out to her family and loved ones.
We are providing support to ensure they receive the care they need during this challenging time.
We are also offering counseling services to employees affected by this incident.”
