Elizabeth Townsell dies in fatal Hopkins County accident
Fatal Hopkins County accident death of Elizabeth Townsell – Obituary
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, a tragic accident occurred on Thursday night at the intersection of Ilsley Road and St. Charles Road.
Deputies responded to the scene at around 11:40 p.m. after a vehicle left the eastbound shoulder of Ilsley Road and collided with a tree.
Upon arrival, deputies found the driver, 18-year-old Patience Satterfield, outside the vehicle with significant injuries. Satterfield was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.
Sadly, Elizabeth Townsell, a 19-year-old passenger in the front seat, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
