Kavon M. Campbell dies in fatal Davenport shooting
Fatal Davenport shooting claims the life of 20-year-old Kavon M. Campbell – Obituary
Davenport police have confirmed that Kavon M. Campbell, a 20-year-old resident of Davenport, lost his life in a shooting that took place Thursday night in the 7500 block of Northwest Blvd. The incident occurred in the parking areas of the Dollar General at 7510 Northwest Blvd. and the adjacent McDonald’s and Mother Hubbard’s convenience store located at 7522 Northwest Blvd.
The shooting, which took place at 9:08 p.m., also left two others injured: a 27-year-old woman and a 17-year-old male, both of whom were transported to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Authorities do not believe this was a random act of violence. The Davenport Police Department is urging anyone with information related to the shooting to contact them at 563-326-6125.
