Fatal Belle Chasse crash death of Kyrin Dotson – Obituary
Baton Rouge teen Kyrin Dotson, age 19, tragically lost his life when struck by a vehicle in a crash on Louisiana Highway 23 near Seatrain Road in Plaquemines Parish on Wednesday, August 28.
Louisiana State Police reported that Dotson was pronounced dead at the scene.
In response to this tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to support Dotson’s family with funeral expenses and to honor his memory.
The fundraiser’s organizers shared that Dotson was en route to his first day of work at an LNG plant in New Orleans when the accident occurred. They have set a fundraising goal of $12,000, and as of August 31, $1,260 has been raised.
