Fatal Newhall fence injury death of Miguel Ramos – Obituary
Authorities have released the identity of the man who passed away last week after sustaining injuries from a fence in Newhall. Miguel Ramos, 39, was discovered by deputies responding to an emergency call at approximately 8:30 p.m. on August 16 in the 27300 block of Valle Del Oro. The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station reported that Ramos sustained his injuries while attempting to jump over an iron fence.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s report confirmed that Ramos succumbed to exsanguination, which is a critical loss of blood, along with a penetrating injury to his left axilla, the area beneath the shoulder joint.
The report classified the incident as an accident. Initially, deputies had investigated the possibility of a gunshot wound at the intersection of Via Canon and Via Estrella. However, it was later determined that the cause of death was not related to a gunshot.
