Fatal Donegal lorry collision death of Patricia McBrearty – Obituary
Patricia McBrearty, an elderly woman in her 80s, has tragically lost her life in a traffic accident in County Donegal. Mrs. McBrearty was struck by a lorry in St Johnston yesterday afternoon, resulting in her death.
The small village of St Johnston is grieving the sudden loss of the beloved mother and grandmother, who resided just a short distance from the accident site on Church Street, off Main Street. The incident occurred around 2 p.m.
A local resident described the atmosphere in the village as being shrouded in sorrow following Mrs. McBrearty’s death.
She is the fourth individual to die on Donegal’s roads in a span of just six days.
Mrs. McBrearty is survived by her son Brian, daughters Tina and Susie, along with her grandchildren and a wide circle of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Paddy.
