Patricia McBrearty, an elderly resident in her 80s, tragically lost her life after being hit by a lorry in St Johnston, Co Donegal on Friday afternoon. The accident occurred on Church Street, just a short distance from Mrs. McBrearty’s home, around 2 p.m. This has deeply affected the local community, with many mourning the loss of the beloved mother and grandmother.
Mrs. McBrearty’s death marks the fourth road fatality in Donegal within the past week. She is preceded in death by her husband Paddy and is survived by her son Brian, daughters Tina and Susie, her grandchildren, and an extensive network of family and friends.
