**Fatal Centennial crash claims the life of Reinaldo Aguilar – Obituary
A construction worker involved in a crash in Centennial on Monday morning has been identified as 62-year-old Reinaldo Aguilar, according to the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
Deputies from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at a construction zone on South Holly Street shortly before 11 a.m.
The sheriff’s office confirmed on Tuesday that both Aguilar and the driver involved in the incident were employees of the same construction company. The crash occurred while the driver was operating a yellow dump truck, as shown in the photo shared by the authorities.
At this time, the driver is not facing any charges in relation to the crash, the sheriff’s office stated.
Due to the investigation, the northbound lanes of South Holly Street were closed for several hours between East Arapahoe Road and East Weaver Avenue. The sheriff’s office announced that the lanes reopened just after 1 p.m.
