Fatal west Boynton Beach crash death of Roben Desarmes and Yulissa Medrano Perez – Obituary
The victims of Friday’s tragic crash on State Road 7 in west Boynton Beach have been identified by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Roben Desarmes, 52, from Boynton Beach, and Yulissa Medrano Perez, 40, were both killed in the accident.
According to deputies, the crash happened when a Toyota Corolla traveling westbound on Armone Place attempted to cross State Road 7 and head southbound.
The driver of the Corolla crossed the northbound lanes of State Road 7, entered the center median, and then moved into the southbound lanes, colliding with another vehicle.
The impact caused the Corolla to veer off the road, striking the shoulder and rolling over.
Desarmes and Perez, who were not wearing seat belts, were thrown from the vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Three other passengers in the Corolla were taken to Delray Medical Center, and the driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
