William Lee McMann, a 72-year-old resident of Marlinton, West Virginia, has been identified as the victim of a deadly single-vehicle accident in Botetourt County.
The incident occurred on August 26 at approximately 6:49 p.m. when McMann was driving a 2021 Nissan Kicks on Route 220.
According to Virginia State Police, McMann lost control of his vehicle, struck an embankment, and rolled over. He was pronounced dead at the scene, despite wearing a seatbelt. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
