Ashley Alvarez, 25, was tragically killed after being hit by a U-Haul truck in San Antonio.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Saturday near Remount Drive and Fratt Road. Alvarez was in the process of loading furniture into the U-Haul when the vehicle’s driver accidentally reversed at a high speed, striking her.
She was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries but, unfortunately, did not survive. Authorities are currently treating the incident as an accident, and no charges have been filed at this time.
