Fatal Jeffersonville crash death of Reven Newsome – Obituary
A 19-year-old named Reven Newsome has died, and several others have been injured following a car accident in Jeffersonville, near Vissing Park.
The incident occurred just after 4 a.m. on Vissing Park Road, according to the Jeffersonville Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle with multiple occupants had overturned. The car, which contained seven to eight people, had reportedly been involved in drinking alcohol at the park prior to the crash. The 16-year-old driver of the vehicle showed signs of intoxication.
Newsome was identified as the deceased victim. Several individuals were transported to Norton’s Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville and Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville, all with what were described as minor injuries.
The Jeffersonville Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
