Bryce Mitchell dies in fatal Algonquin neighborhood shooting
Fatal Algonquin neighborhood shooting death of Bryce Mitchell – Obituary.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that Bryce Mitchell, a 27-year-old man, was shot and killed early Monday morning in the Algonquin neighborhood.
Police responded to reports of a shooting near Dixie Highway and West Lee Street at approximately 12:25 a.m. Upon arrival, Louisville Metro Police Department officers discovered Mitchell suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
The case is currently under investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
