Carsyn Storm dies in fatal Omaha motorcycle crash after fleeing traffic stop
Fatal Omaha motorcycle crash death of Carsyn Storm – Obituary
Carsyn Storm, a 20-year-old from Omaha, was identified as the motorcyclist who died in a crash on Saturday after reportedly fleeing a traffic stop.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. when a trooper attempted to pull over Storm on I-680 near Pacific Street.
Storm accelerated and a pursuit ensued. The motorcycle sped westbound on I-80 at over 110 miles per hour before exiting at Giles Road and re-entering heading eastbound.
After another exit, Storm traveled westbound on I Street. The Omaha police’s Able-1 tracked the motorcycle to 120th Street, where Storm allegedly ran a red light and collided with a van traveling westbound on I Street.
The driver and passenger of the van were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
