The fatal motorcycle crash in east Tulsa claimed the lives of 25-year-old Eliazar Villalva Jr. and 20-year-old Erik Villalva, leaving the community in mourning.
According to Tulsa police, the incident occurred Monday night on 145th East Avenue, between 21st and 31st Street.
The two men were traveling northbound on a motorcycle at high speed when they encountered a vehicle entering the roadway.
In an attempt to avoid a collision, Villalva Jr. applied the brakes, causing the motorcycle to lock up and skid out of control.
The motorcycle overturned, slid off the road, and collided with a parked car in a driveway, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.
Authorities reported that one of the victims was wearing a helmet, while the other was not.
Tragically, both men succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The driver of the car involved was not seriously injured in the incident.
