Early Monday, a memorial was set up outside Park Tavern with chairs adorned with the restaurant’s shirts and flowers. This was in honor of those affected by the crash, including a nurse named Laura who was hospitalized with severe injuries after celebrating her career transition.
Dr. Thomas Stark from Methodist Hospital confirmed that one of the deceased was an ICU unit coordinator who had been a valued member of the hospital staff for years. Stark described him as a kind and integral part of the team. Two other victims who died had also worked in the ICU, known for their dedication and compassion.
Investigations are ongoing, with local law enforcement, including the Minnesota State Patrol and various agencies, working to understand the details of the incident. Surveillance footage revealed that Bailey had driven into the patio area after attempting to park in the lot. The reason for the crash remains unclear, and authorities are continuing to gather information from witnesses.
