Fatal Thurston County car crash death of Tony Avery – Obituary
Tony Avery, 40, of Centralia, has been identified as the victim of a tragic accident that occurred on southbound Interstate 5 in Thurston County on August 25.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Avery was driving at a high speed around 4:15 a.m. when he veered off the freeway south of the Maytown rest area. His vehicle ended up in the woods, where it subsequently caught fire.
The coroner, Gary Warnock, reported that Avery died from multiple blunt force injuries. Due to the extent of the fire, identification was confirmed through dental records.
