Fatal Forest Park train shooting death of Simeon Bihesi – Obituary
Simeon Bihesi, aged 28, has been identified as one of the four victims of a tragic shooting on a train in Forest Park.
The shooting, which occurred early Monday morning on the Blue Line train, left Bihesi and three others dead.
According to police reports, Bihesi was asleep on the train when the shooting occurred, just before 5:30 AM local time.
The incident led to three victims being pronounced dead at the scene and the fourth passing away later at the hospital.
Authorities have charged Rhanni Davis, 30, with four counts of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed Bihesi’s identity along with other victims, including Adrian Collins and Margaret Miller.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, with Deputy Chief Christopher Chin describing it as a “random act of violence.” The community is seeking answers as Davis is set to appear in court on Wednesday.
