Fatal Stoughton motorcycle crash death of Kaitlin Julson and Baily Schultz – Obituary
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victims of a motorcycle crash last month as Kaitlin Julson and Baily Schultz, both from Stoughton.
Julson, 29, and Schultz, 28, succumbed to their injuries on August 23 at the crash site.
Authorities responded to the incident shortly before 9:30 p.m. on August 23, on County Highway B near Apollo Circle.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the motorcycle was traveling west when it was struck from behind by a pickup truck.
The driver of the truck, a 20-year-old man, has been arrested on charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
The identity of the suspect has not been disclosed by the Stoughton Police Department.
Further testing is ongoing as part of the investigation into the tragic accident.
