Fatal Colbert County car crash death of Jerry D. Richardson – Obituary
Jerry D. Richardson, 76, from Florence, was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Colbert County. The crash occurred around 2:10 p.m. on Alabama 20 near Gargis Lane, roughly three miles east of Muscle Shoals.
Richardson was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox when it collided with a 2016 Ford F-350, which was operated by Jason H. Holcomb, 48, from Haleyville. Richardson was declared dead at the scene. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the incident.
