Suffolk, VA – Authorities have identified the victims in a shooting that occurred Thursday night. William Eugene Goodman Jr., 37, and Demonte Lamont Tillery, 30, both from Suffolk, were tragically killed in the incident.

Earlier reports indicate that the Suffolk Emergency Communications Center received a call at approximately 11:25 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024, regarding a shooting on East Washington Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple gunshot victims. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while another succumbed to his injuries after being taken to the hospital. Three others were transported for medical care.
