Fatal Weymouth boat crash death of Patricia Cicalese – Obituary
On Tuesday, the Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey’s office identified the woman who died following a boat collision near Grape Island in Weymouth in August. Patricia Cicalese, 70, from East Walpole, passed away on September 7, according to the statement from Morrissey’s office.
The incident occurred around 12:43 p.m. on August 15, when police and fire marine units from Weymouth and Hingham responded to a crash involving a 38-foot Sea Ray motorboat and a 21-foot Pisces sailboat off Grape Island. Both the Massachusetts Environmental Police and investigators discovered two individuals with serious injuries, including Cicalese, who was hospitalized along with another person.
Morrissey’s office reported that the other individual involved remains in critical condition. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Morrissey’s office at 781-830-4990.
