Three residents of Woodcliff Lake lost their lives in a tragic single-car accident late Saturday night. The incident took place just before midnight on the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge Township, according to authorities.
Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos A. Rendo expressed his sorrow on Facebook, stating, “I have just learned about this devastating event. I have instructed that our flags be lowered. I am in disbelief. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.”
New Jersey State Police reported that troopers were dispatched to the scene at 11:55 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway North. Sgt. Charles Marchan indicated that the driver, David Dryerman, 54, was operating a Tesla Model S when the vehicle veered off the road, hitting a sign, a guardrail, and a concrete bridge support.
Along with Dryerman, the car contained two passengers: Michele Dryerman, 54, and a 17-year-old girl, whose identity and relationship to the adults have not been disclosed. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with no further details available at this time.
