Fatal Woodbridge shooting death of Earl Duwan Miller – Obituary.
On Saturday afternoon, 54-year-old Earl Duwan Miller was shot and killed outside the Sonic Soft Car Wash in Woodbridge, Virginia, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the car wash located at 14109 Richmond Highway. Upon arrival, Miller was found with gunshot wounds and transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police stated that Miller had been involved in a verbal dispute with 25-year-old Jermaine Antwoine Lewis. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, during which Lewis allegedly shot Miller in the upper body. A woman, 29-year-old Vinisha Lanisa Neville, also reportedly brandished a firearm during the incident.
Authorities added that one of the building’s exterior walls was struck by gunfire. Following the shooting, Lewis and Neville fled the scene in a vehicle but were apprehended by Virginia State Police along I-95 in Fairfax County.
Lewis has been charged with second-degree murder, the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and shooting from an occupied vehicle. He is currently being held without bond. Neville was arrested and charged with brandishing a firearm.
