Fatal Jo Daviess County motorcycle crash leaves Lonny Black and Karen Black injured – Obituary
On Sunday morning in Jo Daviess County, Illinois, 65-year-old Lonny Black and his 63-year-old passenger, Karen Black, were both airlifted following a motorcycle accident.
According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at 11:42 a.m. on South Blackjack Road. The motorcycle, driven by Lonny Black, was heading south when it attempted a sharp turn, went off the road, tipped over, and ejected both the driver and passenger.
Both Lonny and Karen Black were flown to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
